My feelings are not God. God is God. My feelings do not define truth. God’s word defines truth. My feelings are echoes and responses to what my mind perceives. And sometimes - many times - my feelings are out of sync with the truth. When that happens - and it happens every day in some measure - I try not to bend the truth to justify my imperfect feelings, but rather, I plead with God: Purify my perceptions of your truth and transform my feelings so that they are in sync with the truth.

Wow God’s been owning me left and right with this question lately…but in such a good refreshing way. For me, when praying verbally has been hard, I resort to journaling. And wow, how He listens and reveals Himself through that. Starting to appreciate traditional journaling again. our God is for us even through that ink/writing. Amazed at how He reveals Himself…and the plans He has for me…

seriously love you girls~ wish we can go out and eat fancy food and dress up all the time haha but so thankful for this special night! can’t wait for what senior year has in store for us! even though we all get busy with our schedules and such, let’s continue growing together in the intimacy that Christ intended for us to have as sisters & apartment mates!!! =))
